Popular Nigerian gospel singer Moses Bliss has apologized to his fans in Tanzania after being denied entry into the country due to visa complications.

The concert, which reportedly drew over 60,000 attendees, was scheduled to take place on October 2, but Bliss’s team was unable to secure the necessary visas despite earlier assurances from the organizing team.

In a heartfelt video message shared on Instagram, Bliss expressed his disappointment and frustration at missing the event.

“Hello my family in Tanzania. I’m here in Tanzania right now, I’m not just allowed to come,” he said.

“It’s very unfortunate that I couldn’t make it to worship with you today. I heard there were about 60,000 of you who came out. I’m sorry, I did my best.”

Bliss explained that his team had made every effort to resolve the issue, including reaching out to authorities and ambassadors, but to no avail.

“We even got presidential intervention, talking to different people in government and ambassadors, but we couldn’t get visas,” he recounted.

The singer described the experience as “painful and disappointing,” considering the time, effort, and resources invested in the concert.

Despite the setback, Bliss expressed gratitude to his fans for their love and support, promising to return to Tanzania soon.

“Tanzania, please hear me, you were not at fault. You came out in numbers, ready for God, and that moves me deeply. I owe you not just an apology, but a promise, by God’s grace, I will return.”
