Prophet Uebert Angel, ‘The Ra’ah,’ clarified that his no-show was a deliberate choice, dismissing speculation of scheduling conflicts and framing his decision around a core principle of spiritual honor.
Angel stated that his absence was not due to a busy schedule. “I don’t need to attend your conference, that’s why I wasn’t there in Benny Hinn’s meeting. I don’t need to,” he declared.
He further revealed, “No, I was not busy, I tell you the truth, I was at my house,” directly countering any rumors to the contrary.
The prominent prophet and founder of Spirit Embassy instead pointed to his relationship with Pastor Chris Oyakhilome of the Believers’ LoveWorld Nation (Christ Embassy) as the model for mutual respect and recognition of spiritual authority.
“But see Pastor Chris here, I will attend,” Angel stated, showing a key distinction.
He elaborate on the nature of this honor, explaining that it is demonstrated through voluntary and generous support rather than transactional arrangements.
“Before they did anything, they came here. These chairs you are seeing here were there. You don’t hire out the chairs, you give for free, because you can never dishonor a mantle when you see it,” Angel said.
To illustrate this principle, Angel recalled the support he received during his first major event in Zimbabwe.
“The man of God who was honoring them, when I came here for the first time in Zimbabwe, he bought the PA system we used. The same Apostle Vutabwashe put the PA system we were using as a gift. That’s an ability to honor a mantle.”
Drawing a direct parallel to the situation with Benny Hinn, Angel confirmed that he has extended the same courtesy to the American evangelist when Hinn has held events within his sphere of influence.
“And when Benny Hinn is here, I honored that mantle,” he stated, implying that his material support was given as a form of honor, even when his physical presence was not.
