Apostle Joshua Selman called on church leaders and ministers to restore honour, humility, and unity within the body of Christ in his address at the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria’s (PFN) 40th Anniversary Celebration.
Speaking to a gathering of senior pastors, ministry leaders, and believers, Selman expressed deep concern over the growing wave of dishonour among ministers, which he believes has hindered the Church’s collective witness and power.
Selman emphasized that true honour is not about flattery and flattery, but about recognizing the grace of God in others and maintaining a spirit of humility in service.
He stressed that unity among ministers is crucial for the Church to fulfill its end-time mandate effectively. “We cannot love Jesus so much that we begin to destroy one another as proof of that love,” Selman warned.
“Something is wrong with our understanding and zeal.”
The PFN’s 40th Anniversary celebration was marked by a sense of reflection and call for reformation.
Church leaders, including Bishop David Oyedepo, called for a new wave of spiritual renewal and national transformation.
The gathering was a mix of old and young, with emerging leaders like Pastors Poju Oyemade and Paul Adefarasin being spotlighted.
