The Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Lagos chapter, Dr. Stephen Adegbite, has called on Christians nationwide to continue praying for President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
Adegbite, who is also the Bishop of the Methodist Church of Lagos, made the appeal during the Centenary Anniversary lecture of the Cherubim and Seraphim (C&S) Unification Church of Nigeria.
While congratulating the Supreme Head of the C&S Unification, Dr. Solomon Adegboyega Alao, on the church’s milestone, Adegbite emphasized the need for unity among Christians.
He noted that the nation is one and that President Tinubu is doing a great job, adding that the churches’ prayers for him should continue.
Adegbite also highlighted the importance of unity within the Christian community, affirming that the C&S Church in Nigeria will continue to thrive through its centenary and beyond by God’s grace.
As the guest speaker at the anniversary lecture, Adegbite’s message shows the significance of sustained prayers for Nigeria’s leaders and unity among Christians.
