A Former lead pastor at All Nations Worship Assembly’s Huntsville, Alabama campus,Adrian Davis, has pleaded guilty to misusing over $400,000 of church funds for personal expenses and filing a false tax return.
Davis faces up to 23 years in prison for wire fraud and tax evasion.
According to court documents, between 2018 and 2020, Davis spent church money on luxury items, including a $30,920 Audi A7 and a $45,982 GMC Yukon.
He also used the funds to pay off personal credit card debt totaling over $117,000, finance entertainment, and purchase Louis Vuitton items. Additionally, he paid his mother’s mortgage using church funds.
Davis has agreed to pay restitution of $434,340.41 to the church and $114,859 to the IRS.
He is scheduled to be arraigned on October 23 in Huntsville. Despite his guilty plea, Davis continues to be platformed by other churches, with some pastors unaware of his scandal.
In a notable incident, Davis was recently hosted as a speaker at New Direction Christian Church in Memphis, Tennessee, where he was praised for his dynamic preaching style. The church’s pastor, Stacy L.
Spencer, had promoted Davis’s appearance without mentioning the allegations against him.
