Elon Musk has urged his 226 million followers to cancel their Netflix subscriptions, citing the streaming service’s content and diversity initiatives as reasons.
Musk’s call to action comes after controversy surrounding the animated series “Dead End: Paranormal Park,” which features a trans character.
The show’s creator, Hamish Steele, faced backlash over alleged comments about conservative activist Charlie Kirk’s death.
Musk took to his social media platform X to encourage users to abandon Netflix, posting “Cancel Netflix for the health of your kids.”
He also supported accounts accusing Netflix of promoting trans ideology to children.
Following Musk’s posts, Netflix’s stock dropped around 2% amid a volatile market.
